Mobile Test Intern - QA
Contract Position - Part-time Internship (up to 20 hours per week)
Struct Club, a Los Angeles-based fitness tech startup brings structure to instructors of music-inspired fitness classes. Made for instructors, by instructors, we are creating the platform for fitness professionals with software to transform how classes are designed and run. MANAGEMENT & GUIDANCE:
Engineering interns will report to and receive hands on guidance from CEO Amira Polack. Amira Polack has built a career in social impact and innovation, from global philanthropy and social entrepreneurship to tech and fitness.
Engineering background is not required, but Computer Science coursework is preferred
You want to learn and grow

Nice - to - Have’s:
Understanding of Agile delivery and environment
Excellent communication skills
Write XCUI tests in Swift
Experience working with external API’s, such as Spotify
Experience working with Github, TestFlight, and AppStoreConnect
Your main focus includes quality assurance testing for the Struct Club app as we continue to grow and roll out new developments on a semi-weekly basis. This includes testing all functions of the app and in most cases finding materials and suggesting app improvements. If you have an engineering background, you may also be granted responsibilities in the following categories. (Please note that for this internship an engineering background is not required)
Analyze functional requirements, research and suggest component strategies
Produce draft module-specific engineering specs
Participate in iOS design, development and testing
Code review and testing
Engineering Interns will participate in daily scrums, and receive bi-weekly formal evaluations of their work.
The objective is to provide an open learning environment that allows the Intern to determine and move into areas that they are most interested in gaining experience in.
Although we do not have a compensation package at this time, interns are eligible for perks that are beneficial to overall mental and physical health. As a fitness company, we pride ourselves on the daily release of endorphins, and we are open to discussing what that looks like for you- i.e. ClassPass, Gym Membership, etc.
