Chief of Staff (or Executive Assistant) Internship to the CEO
Contract Position - Part-time Internship (up to 20 hours per week)
Struct Club, a Los Angeles-based fitness tech startup brings structure to instructors of music-inspired fitness classes. Made for instructors, by instructors, we are creating the platform for fitness professionals with software to transform how classes are designed and run. MANAGEMENT & GUIDANCE:
The Chief of Staff will work with and report directly to the CEO, Amira Polack. Amira Polack has built a career in social impact and innovation, from global philanthropy and social entrepreneurship to tech and fitness.
About the CEO:
Polack has served as President and Chairwoman of the Foundation for Student Communication, CEO and co-founder of Ubomi Beads (South Africa), Social Enterprise Fellow at Hybrid Solar Solutions (Philippines), Head of the Global Youth Campaign for SAP, and Founding Director of Customer Success at Kespry, a drone startup in Silicon Valley. Ultimately, she became an indoor cycling instructor, certified by Schwinn's Keli Roberts and Stages' Javier Santin and Marina Mitchell. She currently serves as a Board Member to the Women in Fitness Association (WIFA).
You are currently enrolled in a University or have a University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Communication, etc
Demonstrated passion towards fitness and health
Have polished communication and writing skills
Excellent attention to detail
Able to complete complex tasks in a short time frame and manage multiple deadlines independently
Very well-organized and effective time management skills
Demonstrates a strong work ethic
Ability to hold executive presence
Support management of strategic partnerships
Scheduling and management of CEO calendar
Assist CEO in implementing the strategic plan
Recommend process improvement changes
Able to assist CEO during some important external facing company meetings
The Chief of Staff Intern will work directly with the CEO daily, and receive bi-weekly formal evaluations of their work.
Although we do not have a compensation package at this time, interns are eligible for perks that are beneficial to overall mental and physical health. As a fitness company, we pride ourselves on the daily release of endorphins, and we are open to discussing what that looks like for you- i.e. ClassPass, Gym Membership, etc.
